BookurTable App for Windows Phone ( India Only )

BookurTable is a popular hotel table reservation service, for Dinner & Lunch, in India. Currently it operates in 10 different cities and have tied up with many Five, Four and Three Star hotels.

Though they have Mobile apps for all the other platforms from a long time, Windows Phone App was recently introduced this February (2012) and its pretty well done app.

How does the App Work ?

• Depending on your current location or the one you choose, it displays hotels where you can eat in or take away or get Home Delivery.
• You can select a hotel and check the  availability of seats, depending on count of people, time and date.
• If the seats are available, you can book your table right from the app itself.

In few minutes, you get an SMS about it, followed by a call from the BookURTable Team to confirm your reservation. Only when you confirm, the reservation is finalized. In case the seats are not available, the team will suggest you few alternatives.

Features :

• The first screen give you tiles for Favorites, My Page, Share, Search, Set Location and My Booking.
• All the booking made by you can be seen in the app itself.
• For every hotel listed, you can see how much it will cost you per person,  Bar availability, Veg Non Veg Preferences, Star of the hotel, reviews, how far is it form your current location, Parking availability, Address, Map View.
• For Takeaways, You can view the item names and place an order for it. At the time of confirmation you will need to give your address and a landmark. This again is confirmed back from the team before it is finalized.
• You also get to see Offers in form of Coupons.
• You can add hotels to your favorites section so you don’t have to search every time.

Suggestion :

• Similar to Take Away, Menu should be available for all the hotels where a person wants to book a seat. That will give him clear idea on variety of food that he can expect in the hotel.
• Sync with the online profile.
• Overall a performance improvement is much required for the app.
