In the light of recent announcement of Windows Phone 8, and what is coming next, Qualcomm also has come out with detail information on how Microsoft they and have worked together to make Snapdragon S4 Processor work efficiently, securely and be a battery power saver on Windows Phone 8.
High Performance & Low Power : S4 has both, CPU & GPU , together in one place and with its new architecture and design, it will be much faster. Apart from this it uses less power, making sure the overall battery performance increases.
Faster Location Service : In addition to GPS, S4 will be accessing another set of 24 satellite network, GLONASS, which means Windows Phone 8 will able to find your location much faster than any other phone. This will also be useful for Navigation services, specially after Nokia maps coming to all.
Hardware Security : S4 comes with Secure MSM feature which provides encrypted boot and hardware level data security for files and other operations. Microsoft will also be using the BitLocker feature to make it enterprise ready.
Much Improved Cameras : S4 also supports much better image & video processing and that is upto 1080 P. Though Windows Phone 8 will support max of 720+ p, This feature is still useful and will help improve the reputation of camera in Windows Phone
4G LTE Web Browsing : S4 has got some improvement which will allow users to have efficient browsing experience.
