By -

Finally Great Apps making into Windows Phone market place, Though not Official but we do have an awesome app for BBC and now Network 18 has rolled out Official app for Windows Phone under the name of IBNLIVE. If you are searching make sure to check Publisher details because there are already lot of apps around the same name.

IBN Live Windows Phone

Features :

  • Mango Supported but in case of videos if you switch, you will not be able to resume.
  • You can check out Top Stories, Cricket, Movies and Videos all by just swiping.
  • You can save stories to read it later.
  • You can get Live Cricket Scores
  • The videos also include shows  Face The Nation, Devil’s Advocate, The Week That Wasn’t and more
  • I see this as the first app which makes use of the Me Status Update feature i.e. to share any news it takes you to Update Status from where you can post update to Twitter and Facebook

Drawbacks and Suggestions :

Version 0

However I find the app be pretty slow when it comes to switching between screens or scrolling down which is very laggy. The developer needs to update it if they want the app to be really appreciated but rest of the things are done right specially the Offline Support.

Also another suggestion would be to create a separate screen where I can see all my saved story in form of tiles. This section can be very well named as “My Stores” or something on similar lines.
