4Shared Launches Universal Windows App; Time to Send your Feedback

Popular File sharing service, 4Shared, has launched a beta version of the Universal Windows 10 App they are working on, and if you are running Windows 10 Mobile insiders, it’s time to test and share your feedback. The more we do, the more universal apps will be on board the ecosystem. I tried out the app for a couple of minutes, and yes, it does have many bugs, and performance right now is underplayed.

4Shared Launches Universal Windows App; Time to Send your Feedback

For those who aren’t aware, the 4Shared service lets you access your files anytime you need by being on the cloud. You will also be able to share links of the files uploaded with others, just like any other file-sharing service.

Using the app, you will be able to

  • Upload files from your phone, but it is limited to only photos for now. I don’t see it using the App picker, which it should use.
  • You have 15 Gb storage to get started with.
  • Uploading files worked nicely and generating a shared link worked without a problem. You can share it over email, Twitter, and so on.
  • Search what is shared publicly.
  • You can add files to favorites to get back to them later.
