Best Windows Phone Games of the Week #1

We at WPXBOX came with this thought where instead of posting each game, lets start this weekly series of best Windows Phone Games which I will post every week. We will try to play ourselves all the week and get you the best on the weekend. So have fun playing these games!!

Tap Tap Glider

Remember making aero planes out of paper and shooting over each other? Its time to get those times back on your phone. In this game, you fly that paper plane in between of books, ink pots and hanging flower pots. Unlike flappy bird, its fun to play and you get across barriers for long time except for few places. This is where you use special power which helps you remove barriers, shrink the plan down and so on.

Playing the game is rather easy. Tap to make it fly upwards, release to drop. Special power can be activated from top left which in turn needs bubbles. These bubbles can be collected as during your flight time.

Death Drop

When I played this, first few games were not interesting but then it became very addictive. In this game you play as Sky Diver who jumps off his plane and needs to land on a target. There are two targets here. One is the main target while other are smaller ones.

The catch of the game is you jump from very high and everything down below looks so small that you will have hard time figuring out your target and then gliding towards it. To glide you will need to tilt your phone.

Extreme Forklifting

In this game you play as Fork Lifter. Pick wooden boxes or the pallets from one place and drop at another. While this sounds easy, it needs some serious driving skills as you need to align the lifter with the boxes properly so you don’t drop them doing that or in the way. If you do it correctly, you get bonus points.

There is another challenge that you would realize as soon as you lift a heavy one. You can tip if the load is heavy and hence choose a right height to find your center of gravity. This becomes even tricky when you are on angled planks.

That said, there is also a Sandbox mode which is best place to practice before you start. Let lets you lift and practice to earn better score.

Sheep Up

This cute little game will make you turn your mobile in ever possible angle. It’s a very popular game on Android and iOS and they made it to Windows Phone recently.  Here you need to rescue a sheep which has fallen into a very deep cardboard. It keeps jumping and you need to change directions to direct her in a way to collect points, change levels, move to exist doors, collect keys and of course not fall into an empty area.

You seriously need a lot of patience but its fun with all different levels, power ups and so on.  Below is a video of how it looks:

Piano Tile

This is another crazy game we discovered recently. You play a song on a piano which is presented to you differently. In this game you need to tap only on the black cords and go as fast as possible. There are many modes and its worth playing. Read more about it here.

Spell-o-Mania

It’s no fun if you don’t a have game which can tease your brain. Spell-o-Mania is a good one if you are into spellings. The game play is simple. The game tells you a word and you need a type in the spelling. You have three hints and three tries to score.

Dark Way Down:

This is another brainer game where you need to light up set of squares by moving among it. As you move on the next square it toggles i.e. goes off if its already on and vice-versa. Its easy than said and there 25 levels enough to make you make use of your brains.
