Add Custom Text to Windows Phone 8 Lock Screen

Lock Screen customization is one of the main features of the new Windows Phone 8. We have covered many lock screen apps on this blog. Most of these lock screen apps add wallpapers, weather or battery info to lock screen. Lock Screen Text is a new app for WP8 which allows you to add custom text to the phone lock screen. The app displays the text in the notification section on the lock screen.

The interface is simple, you just need to add the text you wish, in the app and save it. Once you save it, you need to select Lock Screen Text app in the lock screen notification settings.

The app does not make any changes to the wallpaper you have already set as lock screen.
