How to add Keyboards in Windows 10 Mobile

Keyboards are handy if you want to type in your own language on smartphones for social sharing. Windows 10 Mobile also supports various language keyboards which can be added based on your preferences. English keyboard comes installed by default and you can add more keyboard packs if you wish to use local language.

In this post, we will share how to add more keyboards to Windows 10 Mobile.

To add a new keyboard, open Settings-> Time and Language-> Keyboard.

Here you will see the list of existing keyboards and also ability to add more keyboards. Hit the Add Keyboard button and it will show the list of all available keyboards. While some of these needs to be downloaded, some of them are already available. If they need to be downloaded, make sure your phone is connected to the internet.

Once you have downloaded or added the keyboard, it will show up in the list. You can click on the keyboard to get additional options available for that particular keyboard.

Remove Keyboards:

If you want to remove a keyboard, you need to press and hold the keyboard you want to remove and you get the option “remove”. Click the remove button and the keyboard will be removed from the system.

Using this tool, you can add any number of keyboards to your phone to use it in your local language.
