Alcatel Idol Pro 4 could be a Flagship Windows 10 Mobile Device Supporting Continuum

Alcatel might be working on a flagship Windows 10 Mobile device which will include Snapdragon 820, ultimately supporting Continuum. The company did promise about Windows 10 Mobile devices, and if Microsoft strategy to quit making phones is heading the way we expect, it will existing times where OEMs get their own space, and get more market which was occupied by the Lumia phones.

WMPU has got this exclusive info, and they also report that Alcatel has plans to pack a Full HD display, and will be common to T Mobile in the United States. Alcatel introduced the OneTouch Fierce XL, and Pixi 3 devices earlier this year. There is another model expected Idol 4 which might run Snapdragon 617, which also supports Continuum, and its something we are looking forward to.

Also to note, this is the first time I am seeing a spike among OEM to build Windows 10 Mobile. Microsoft till date has been selling most of its share of Windows 10 Mobile device outside US, but now we are seeing more OEM coming with devices. Overall its a good news, but lets see how it goes in long term.
