Amazon is Building “Prime Music” App for Windows Phone as per Amazon Support
We have some good news for Amazon Prime Music subscribers owning a Windows Phone. The company is building a Music App for Windows Phone and it will coming soon. How soon? We aren’t sure but at least its confirmed that their “MP3 App Development Team” is working on it.
In a post by a reddit user obscureepps, he shares a reply from Amazon Support where they mentioned as below.
We are getting many feedback regarding the availability of Amazon Music App for Windows Phone for customers and our MP3 App development team is working on it to make this application available for Windows Phone.
I truly appreciate your patience , because if I had been in your place I would have been very angry. But we really appriciate that you still believe in us, and are giving chance to make Music app availble on Windows Phone.
Please note that our app development team is working hard to make the music app available for windows phone, and will be very soon available on Windows Phone.
That said, at least we know its in works but how soon has no answer because it could be next month or probably a year to see. Interesting to note that another use the same chat thread shared another news. He also connected with Amazon Chat for the Music App query, but instead he was told that there are many apps liked for release in 2015. May be its IMDB or may be something else.
While the chat might not sound mature enough because I really don’t see why the support issued a promotional certificate of $5. The only way to know is either somebody from Amazon leaves a comment or wait and watch.
