Amazon Launches First Waterproof “Kindle Oasis”
Amazon has a Kindle for everyone. If you are one of those premium users, I am sure you heard or at least holding a Kindle Oasis. Its the premium book reader Amazon introduced last year, and after a lot of feedback from the consumers, today Amazon has introduced the second version of Kindle Oasis with the following features:
- Waterproof — Finally! Up to 2 Meters.
- Its 7-inch device with 300 PPI display.
- Audible Support.
- Thin, and light with Aluminum Back.
- Offers 8 GB or 32 Gb storage.
- Weighs 194 g and 3.4mm thick.
Amazon is selling this at $249.99 for 8 GB model, $279.99 for the 32 GB model, and if you pick up the 32 GB & cellular connectivity model, you pay $349.99.
The company is also offering a cover for book lovers which will turn it into a hands-free reading by turning itself into a stand. It’s a smart cover which can turn on your Kindle as you flip it opens like a book, and when you put it back, it will put kindle to sleep. The covers are available in a lot of variety and are water safe.
