"An Alein with a Magnet" On Windows Phone

Want to kill sometime while you are getting bored? To those who won a Windows Phone, here is another impressive game which does what it says and lets you play a lot even when on trial copy. Sounds exciting ? Today, we have picked up Alien with a Magnet–An arcade style game mixed with bit of best combinations like Action, Puzzles, Adventure and so on. In short, it has so much to do that getting bored is something you wont when playing this game.

Gameplay:

The central idea of the game is collecting starts, diamonds etc while you play as an alien in one manned spaceship with a magnet hanging at the bottom. You need to use this magnet to get attracted to planets gravitation pull and revolve around to collect bonuses and move to different plant. That’s how you actually move from one to another and then to the end of galaxy.

You also have meteoroids, pillows or the soft meteoroids to bump you around but careful with the former one. Also when you hook yourself into a planet’s orbit, make sure to activate your magnet at the right time else you will be crash landing.

Game Modes:

There are two types here. Adventure and Time Attack and they self-explanatory. Adventure is available to play in trial mode and gives a complete experience if you would want to buy the full mode which unlocks the time attack.

Gaming Experience :

While it looked very simple to start with, the game really gets tricky as you progress, specially when you are restricted on power. You can tap anywhere to engage in the planet’s orbit and release to flare float towards other one. However everything is not straight and you need to smartly decide your trajectory to jump and grab stars else smash into the rocks.

Many a times you need to change your trajectory by looking back and forth between the planets because there is no other way except to use plants gravitation pull to change your direction.

The stage ends when you shoot yourself out to the starts. However make your trajectory is correct else the game will be gone for a toss and you will end up playing again and again.

Music :

The game has decent background music playing in the background to keep your going for hours but make sure to put your headphones on. You can turn them off individually.

If you like arcade type games with bit of action and puzzle here and there, this is a pretty impressive game for that. It not only kept me engaged for a long time but also did not push me to buy the full game while playing trial version and eventually led me to buy the game.
