Ant Raid : Get Those Fingers to Work and Save Thy Ants
If you love playing Arcade games, today, we have another up for review which mixes a bit of stagey to bring you loads of fun and finger work to save an Ant colony. Ant Raid is a arcade-strategy game where you play as savior and command the ant army against Snails and Bees who went evil after chemical X was sprayed on a farm where they lived happily together.

Game Play:
It’s pretty simple. You need to save your colony against the wrath of Snails and Bees by using the army and power you generate by killing them. You can either control the entire army or part of it to attack multiple units.
That said, you also need to heal your army which get knocked off during the attack by sending set of ants to pick them up. You also have a doctor Ant who develop types of power for you which can either kill enemy in shot or boost your army to work smarter and together.

There are two game modes here. First is the story mode which has 4 chapters with 15, 30, 45 and 60 levels (150) and second is the survival mode with 4 different types. Keeping in mind that every level is going to be 5 to 7 minutes of game play, you have a lot of time to kill.
Graphics :
Even being an arcade game, the graphics are stunning because of the 3D structures and players. You can zoom in and out, browse the area to figure out where your enemies are coming in from and son. Even on a small screen, the graphics are delivered well to make sure the user get more than what they paid for. These are the games which are setting standards.
Gaming Experience:
The game keeps you on your toes. You need to be quick and keep eye open to find out where the enemies are trying to get in. The bees are pretty notorious as they do not follow a fixed path unlike Snails. You will have to calculate the pace of snails and bees to figure out how to distribute your army.
Also when it comes to using the powers, make sure you aren’t hitting them on empty ground. One of the best way to use them is when your enemies are close and together, use them to perform multiple kill or even if you happen to hit them quickly, you wont hit the ground to bring the earthquake.
One thing I would like to warn you here is when you are selecting set of ants to attack, you have to learn how to use it. One tap select a set of ants while you can draw a bigger circle to accommodate more which is required for when your enemy is double the size. However, since you can explore the area around using your finger, sometimes these two mess with each other. I have lost many levels because of this and you seriously need some practice.
Music & Sound Effects:
You will be impressed that even the smallest object has a sound associated with whatever they do. Drum Beats, Ants marching towards snails, bees humming, snails smashed and so on. If you can, play it over a Bluetooth speaker and you will enjoy even more.
Download:
The game costs the minimum you pay for an app in your marketplace. 0.99 USD or Rs 55 for Indian market and it’s worth paying for it. Since the game doesn’t come along with a trial mode, I will request the dev to get this feature on so users can try. I am sure they will end up buying it.
