Arabic Language support is coming to Xbox One with Fall Creators Update
Xbox One is getting a major update this fall with Fall Creators Update, and if you are one of those users who long expected Microsoft to roll out Arabic language support, it’s coming with it. The native update to the console has been long awaited, especially since PS4 had it since 2014. As usual, Microsoft is late in the game.
In an interview with True Gaming, Xbox platform Corporate Vice President, Mike Ybarra shared that first look of Arabic language support will show up with Insiders in few weeks, while public rollout is going to take longer, and will only come by end of the year. The same was also announced by the twitter page of Xbox Saudi
I am not surprised by Microsoft delay on this. The primary reason why PS 4 is so popular in India is that Microsoft had not only made bad decision to get the console late in the country, the pricing was too much. The country is critical, just like Arabic countries, but the business decision takes way too much of time.
Xbox One X will be officially available by November 2017, and we hope Microsoft is getting the console to every region, and not a phase wise roll out. It will be running the latest Fall Creators Update out of the box.
