Asus Launches “VivoBook Pro N580” Surface Book Competing Laptop
When Microsoft created the Surface Category, it did change the trend, and since then OEMs had tried competing with it by providing competing specs, and price. Asus today launched “VivoBook Pro N580” at a price of $1299 which competes with Microsoft Surface Book which will cost $2499 for similar specs.
VivoBook Pro N580 offers 7th Generation Intel Core i7 quad core processor with 4K UHD Playback support. When it comes to display you get 15.6 inches FULL HD display with 178-degree wide view which is a perfect fit for a lot of people watching a movie together, or when it comes to gaming. The graphics specs offer GTX 1050 4GB with 16GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM and high-speed 512GB M.2 SSD
It also offers an ergonomic backlit keyboard with a fingerprint sensor which works with Windows Hello. Since the laptop is definitely be used for gaming, it comes with Hyper Cool, Dual-Copper, and dual-fan cooling system.
When it comes to port, it offers USB 3.1 Type-C (Gen1), USB 3.1 Type-A, USB 2.0, HDMI, & headphone/mic ports. You can charge the laptop very quickly using the fast charging tech built into the system. It can charge up to 60% capacity in just 49 minutes.
Last but not the least, it has integrated audio tech from Harman/Kadron. It includes powerful speakers and a smart amplifier technology. Speakers are built using Dual-coil, front-mounted stereo speakers for clear, and loud audio. The company claims that it is 320% better than similar offerings.
