Audible App (Beta) for Windows Phone is Now Open; Download Now!

Audible is one of the most popular apps in the Windows Phone Store, which lets anybody download and listen to audiobooks on the go. It not only maintains a high rating, but it is also one of the best-designed apps. After a long wait for a solid update, Audible has finally opened up their new app, in beta, which you can download and try out.

After trying the app for almost an hour, I am extremely pleased with its performance, brilliant graphics, fast resume, and for those who have never tried, it can quickly start with a free trial and download a book as well. You can listen to the book through its first chapter with the option to pause, skip chapters and even bookmark.

There are a couple of interesting options as well. You can go button-free to concentrate on audio and swipe for all operations.  Speech Integration for pause, play, forward, backward, and so on. If you are about to sleep, put a timer for, let’s say, 8 minutes, and the audiobook will pause on its own.

List of new features include Personal recommendations, View similar titles by the same author, narrator, and next in series, Rate and review title from the app and Play audio samples in the app.
