Vieather : A Beautifully done Weather App for Windows Phone
We all love weather and we love it so much that we like to talk about it in all conversations. As a matter of fact it’s one of the best topics to start with any stranger. So coming back top topic, today we are talking about a very well done weather app — Vieather. Even though it does nothing more than what other apps are doing its presentation of providing information on weather is impressive.
- Metro Interface: When using this app, you would feel that it’s very much inline with the default apps on, Windows Phone like Email amongst others. It follows the metro or the modern standard.
- Clean: There is nothing done extra to impress you here. Very simple and straight to the point.
- More Information: In one single screen you would know what would be the weather like in next hour or in next two hours with current temperature, Feels Like, Humidity, Wind and UV index. Swipe once and you get to see the high low temperature chart along with weekly prediction.
- Multiple location: If you keep hopping around cities, you can have multiple locations include in the list.
- Smart Live Tile: One of the multiple cities is set to default. So if you choose to switch default city, it will automatically update live tile accordingly.
- Settings: You can also choose Language, Standard Unit, Update data on Start and color of the live time. Live tile can set to update hourly.
Suggestions:
- Recommend including Wide Tile that can show up same info as the app does.
- Automatically change default city based on my location if it is on my list.
