Better Task for Windows Phone is Beautiful, Gesture based Task management App
Though most of the Windows Phone app are done right but there are some apps you just fall in love by just using it for a minute. We are happy to introduce Better Task App for Windows Phone which is awesomely, beautifully and gesture based for all Task Management App lovers.
The app itself is pretty simple. All you do is create task, set date, set due date, set reminder, add subject and your task is ready but how you create it is lovely.
Gestures & Colours
A) Quickly Add a Task
The Home screen of the app displays Unifished Task Count, Date & Time. Then you have 4 labels :
- Today
- Next
- Tomorrow
- Overdue
All you need is long press and slide down and it opens up subject box where you can enter the task subject and enter to save. This is the quickest way to create task where you dont want to spend lot of time setting up options.
B) Quickly Change the time range :
Switching from todays task to overdue task to completed task takes a simple tap. When you are in a time range, all you need is tap on the name and it will turn into a dropdown list where you can select a different time range.
C) Completing a Task : Just drag the particular task to right and release it. This will mark the task as completed and move it to the Completed Task list.
Beautiful Looks : Apart from these the application uses the right colour combination which makes it a very good looking application. A different colour for every time range makes sure you can understand by looking at it. For every time range, you also get to see the count of tasks.
In case you forgot to save, It remembers the last text you entered when creating the task quickly.

Suggestion :
- Include Attachment Support / Camera Support
- Integrate with Skydrive or Dropbox to backup Tasks.
- Batch Process tasks for common things like Changing Due Date, Mark as Complete / Incomplete.
- Allow to link with a Contact or add phone number.
