Bing Travel Beta released for Windows Phone 8

Bing apps are popular on Windows 8 and there are quite a lot of them. One of the useful ones for people who travel a lot is the Bing Travel. Microsoft has now made available this app for Windows Phone 8 users. Although the app is currently in beta testing, there are quite a lot of features available in the app.

The Travel app, powered by Bing, provides you with destination guides, user travel photos, expert reviews, daily trip ideas, hotel listings and much more, all from the convenience of your phone.  You can check airport arrivals/departure status and pin a flight you are tracking to your start screen. The app also allows you to make last minute flight bookings after comparing the best price from multiple providers. Find nearby hotels, read user reviews and browse hotel photos before making a booking directly from your phone.

Like all Bing apps, Bing Travel app provides beautiful experience on your phone. You will find trip ideas, travel news, and rich destination panoramas with weather forecasts, photos, attraction lists, restaurants, hotels, and more.

The app is available free of cost like other Bing apps and can be downloaded from the store.
