Download Bitwarden Password Manager Extension for Microsoft Edge

There is finally an uptick in extensions for Microsoft Edge. Grammarly went live recently, and now a popular password manager, Bitwarden, is available for Microsoft Edge on the browser’s add-on website.

It’s an open-source password manager that does not limit you on how many you can store and supports all features like auto-fill logins, sync passwords across devices, and so on.  It secures your data using end-to-end AES-256 bit encryption, salted hashing, and PBKDF2 SHA-256. That said, one thing you should know that unlike LastPass, which keeps an encrypted copy of all passwords locally as well as an encrypted copy on their servers, Bitwarden won’t work offline, which is painful.  However, everything is free on this, for which you might have to pay.
