Blink for Windows Phone has it’s own “blinking” limitations

Blink for Windows Phone is an awesome lens app which lets you capture moments which happens on that very moment when you plan to hit the capture button. The app frequently captures a lot of pictures in series and then gives you option to view each of these moments and save the best one.

In the resent post about Blink, Nokia Conversation posted more details about it which also includes the limitations which is almost unknown.

  • The resolution of the images, taken, are less than 1280 by 720 pixels. This makes is not so fit for paper printing.
  • The app will not use FLASH even when it’s forced on in the settings.
  • No other camera controls are available. It seems Blink uses some of its own settings which make the fast capture possible.
  • Also we have heard that Blink does not work on Lumia 620 or the low-end devices which have around 512 MB ram. This proves that the app is using lot of resources to get the job done.
