BLU Officially Announces Windows 10 Mobile for Win HD, Win HD LTE, and Win JR LTE X130E in Europe & Asia

BLU has started rolling out Windows 10 Mobile for its popular WIN Series phones, which were sold with 1GB RAM, and a promise from the company that the phone will get an upgrade when Windows 10 Mobile officially launches. The signs of this came last week when I saw my BLU WIN HD LTE in India getting the update.

Initially, there were a lot of controversies as BLU devices were not listed in the Upgrade List. Still, after a lot of consumer pressure, BLU Support later confirmed that they are working on the official upgrade, and here is the list. The news comes officially from the BLU Twitter account.

If you are one of the BLU users, it’s time to upgrade, and you will need to use the Windows 10 Upgrade Advisor to enable the download. Check out our guide on how to use the upgrade advisor.

Once installed, it will check if the upgrade is available and how the device can be prepped. The chances are that it will get rid of some temporary files. Once it confirms that the update is available, you will need to check the box which says “Enable Windows 10 Upgrade”.  After this, the device is provisioned for the Windows 10 Mobile upgrade.

Now Go to Settings > Phone Update > Check for Update. Keep pressing if you have all the time in the world. Else let it tell you on its own.
