BLU WIN HD LTE (x150e) getting Windows10 Mobile Update in India via Insider

BLU sold a good amount of their Windows Phone in India which includes 1 GB RAM for both of the HD and JR LTE model.  On 2nd March, Microsoft announced support for Windows Insider which was rolled out for European Models. Looks like this particular build 10586 is now being rolled out for Indian consumers as well.

One of our ready, Yaseen, shared this detail with us. He had opted for Windows Insider on this phone, and a week back, he got the message about a massive 1.8 GB update.  Here is what he shared with us:

It  started automatically a week before, where I got this update. However I  didn’t have enough space. The update stated that  ” you have an important update for 1.81GB”.  So I did a factory reset, but then the update was gone. Today morning I saw an update running, followed by Windows 10 Installation which took nearly 2 hours.

After the update I noticed a lot of lag, but once all the apps were updated from the Windows Store ( nearly 41 app updates where in the queue), now it works fine, and with very few lags (not noticeable).

The firmware version post upgrade is at 00150.03720.20001.15009, version 1511, and the build stands at 10586.

When Windows 10 Mobile was officially announced, BLU devices were off the list. This created a lot of bad reputation for both the companies since the devices were sold with promise of Windows 10 Mobile Upgrade. Finally Microsoft had to give in, and promised for a Windows 10 Insiders Roll out.
