Boards by Todoist for Windows 10; Lets you Manage & Visualze Tasks with Kanban Boards
The company behind the Popular Task management app, Todoist, has released a complimentary app for its service–Boards–which allows you to visualize your tasks with Kanban Board. Those who don’t know Kanban enable you to optimize your workflow, making it easier for you to manage different projects in Todoist.
The app is available on both Windows 10 PC and Mobile, but you may need to follow the link of the app at the end to download it for a while. I wasn’t able to search for it in the store.
Features:
- Once synced with your Todoist account, you can track large projects by dragging them into different states: “To-Do,” “In Progress,” and “Done.”
- You can use the features of Todoist like assign tasks, leave comments, upload attachments, assign work to people, add new tasks using natural language parsing, and more.
- Any tasks you add or complete will sync back to the original Todoist project.
- It works offline and syncs back when it gets an internet connection.
- Colorful Light and Dark Themes.
The developers have added a precaution here. When moving a task to the Completed column in Boards, it does not automatically complete your tasks in Todoist. The app lets you choose when you want to move your Completed column to Todoist history. That means none of your Todoist tasks will ever be marked as complete by accident. Once you’ve moved your Boards tasks to history, you can always find them in your completed task history in Todoist.
Those who arenas aware, Todoist App is not available for Mobile as of now, but since boards let you create tasks and then sync back to Todoist, it will get the job for now. The company is testing its official app on the desktop right now with regular updates and bug fixes.
