You can Now Attach Files from Google Drive & Facebook in Outlook Web
Making sure Microsoft service get hooked to everything, Office Blog today announced Facebook and Google Drive integration for Outlook Web. If this was the primary reason why you never moved to Outlook Drive, its about time. If you aren’t aware, support for OneDrive, Box and Dropbox had been there from sometime.
Google Drive:
- Attach files directly from your Google Drive once you sign-in with your account.
- When someone shares a document from Google Drive in an email, you can open those documents right in the email. No more directing to google drive.
- If you have edit permissions, you’ll be able to edit using the full functionality available on Google Drive.
- Google files open in Outlook next to your message window so your work flow is not disrupted.

Facebook:
- Attach your Photos from Facebook Profile. You can see your own photos including the one where you are tagged. Your own photos are shown separately.

Apart from these, Outlook Web now lets you find all your attachment with a single click. In a long email conversation where documents are attached here, and there, now all you need to do is click on the attachment icon on the top of the conversation. This will show all the attached files in the conversation along with the name. All you will need is to click, and start reading or editing.

The features are being rolled out globally, and you might not see it right away, but in time. Nevertheless the features are definitely useful, and the new Microsoft getting their devices everywhere looks cool. When on Outlook Apps? Wait for it! More on Office Blog
