Celkon Mobiles launched its first Windows Phone, the Celkon Win 400 last week. We recently got the retail box of the same price at Rs 4,999 at Snapdeal. Here is the un-boxing of the product, followed by first impression about the product.

First Impression:

What we really liked is the display which is sharp enough, supports three rows of tile and has impressive build quality. Even though the build is platsic, but overall experience and how it feels in the hand is good. The corners are curved edges and have style of its own. The touch of the phone is decent enough even though its WVGA LCD only.

The phone comes with 4 inch display which has a resolution of 800 X 480 pixels and is powered by 1.3 Ghz Snapdragon 200 Quad core processor, which is powering most of the low end Windows Phones. The device also comes with 512MB RAM which is kind of disappointing. There is 4GB internal storage available which is expandable via microSD card. The phone comes with Windows Phone 8.1, which is the latest version of the OS. There is also a 5MP rear camera with flash and a 1.3MP front camera.

The rear camera is ok for this price point, specially the color reproduction is good. However the front camera is there for sake of it. Do not expect much and use it for casual video calls.

The retail package comes with ergonomic earphones, decent length USB cable and charge head. There is no flip case and screen guard included.
