CleverPhoto- Photo Editor for Windows Phone

When it comes to editing photos, most of the camera phones have some basic editing options and if you want advanced editing options, there are many apps available on the marketplace. CleverPhoto is one such photo editing app for Windows Phone. CleverPhoto comes with lots of features and has a simple and easy to use interface. In this article we will check out the features and see if it is worth the price.

Although many photo editing apps allows you only to edit photos from the library, CleverPhoto allows you to capture photos using the phone camera. Once the capture is complete, it opens the editing options. They are basically categorized into 4 sections- Edit, effects, artistic, and frames.

 

The edit menu does all the image editing options like rotate, crop, brighten, color balance, red eye removal and many more other options. The tools available are pretty good and does the job neatly.

In the effects section, there are variety of effects available like black and white, noise, negative, sharpen etc. As you can see from the image below, all the edits applied on the image are available in the top section under history. You can remove any edits made to the photo from the history.

The other two edit includes adding artistic effects and also frames. The options available though are less, does the edit neatly.

You can save the edited photo directly to Flickr or Facebook or to the phone. The effects and edit applied to phone are pretty quick and save option shows the final image width and height. What makes CleverPhoto a good app is the interface which is slick and easy to use. All the options are available from a single screen making it easy to use.

CleverPhoto is available for download for $1.49 and if you need to do advanced editing, this app is pretty good. There is also a trial version, but you cannot save the image in trial version.
