After HP Revealed its incredible series of Laptops and Notebooks, It was Dell turns. The company unveiled the newest upgrades to its XPS series of notebooks line up with substantial upgrades and to raise the competition bar one step higher. Here is the list:

After unleashing edge display on XPS 13, Dell has now launched a 15.6” InfinityEdge display on XPS 15 for stunning visual performance and looks. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass NBT which claims to offer 10x scratch resistant for touch screens. On top of this Dell is also offering 4k ultraHD display for crisp and stunning visual quality with 100% Adobe RGB.
Dell XPS 15 also has an option for Intel’s Quad Core Skylake processors coupled and offers 2133 MHz RAM up to 16 Gb for great computing performance with fast load times, storage access speed and storage capacities with up to 512 GB SSD or 1 TB HDD. There are two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 for charging XPS 15 and connecting peripherals including two 4k displays with high speed bi-directional transfers rates.
It is made up of aluminium body with carbon fibre palm rest which enables rigidity, and keeps it cool. The keyboard keys are back-lit and well placed with precise travelling time.
The base model is priced at $999.99 and the top model comes at $1699.99.
Dell XPS 13 with Infinity Edge Display
Dell have released new XPS 13 with first in class infinity edge display which is almost borderless. Here are the specifications:

Dell XPS 13 is powered by latest Intel’s Skylake processors. When it comes to build, its made up of aluminium with carbon fibre palm rest is like XPS 15 but is slightly smaller display at 13-inces, but same InfinityEdge display with options either of FHD AG non touch and QHD+ touch enabled display.
It weighs under 3 pound as starting weight with 18 hour battery life for higher productivity. Dell XPS 13 also comes with USB-C ports with Thunderbold 3 for high transfer speeds & speedy charging. This also helps connecting various peripherals including two 4k displays. Dell XPS 13 also comes with backlit illuminated keys with great travelling distance and key spacing.
The base model is priced at $799.99 and top end model is priced at $1649.99.
Dell XPS 12 | 2-in-1 Ultrabook
Dell also launched another breed in under XPS brand with 2 in 1, also being popularly termed as a Surface competitor. However online Surface Pro, they are offering a keyboard here along with it. The ultrabook comes with 12.5” 4K ultra HD display with touch for mind-blowing visual experience. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass NBT display that claims to offers 10 times more scratch resistance.
It uses magnets to attach with keyboard thus offering effortless attaching and detaching of the tablet. Buyers also get elegant magnetic cover which not only protects the XPS 12 from scratches or bumps, but also act as stand for viewing as per the user ease.
The keyboard keys are backlit illuminated with precision touch pad for enhancing your productivity. You also get USB-C port with Thunderbolt 3 for charging XPS 12, connecting peripherals and for high speed bi directional data transfers.
XPS 12 is equipped with 8 MP rear facing camera and 5 MP front facing camera for video chatting or taking selfies. It also gets Dell Active Pen which is available separately for taking notes with a click or for drawing etc. XPS 12 weights at just 2.8 lbs for easy portability.
It houses Intel’s 2.7GHz Core M5 processor, with 128GB of storage, 8GB of RAM. Depending on the kind of display you pickup the pricing will change. If you pick a regular HD display, it will cost you $1000 while 4K display will cost you $1300 and comes with 256 Gb Storage.
