Cortana is Now Available for Android Devices in India

Cortana, Microsoft’s Digital Assistant, which is available now on all Windows 10 devices, Android and iPhone, has now made its way to all Android devices in India, and it’s going to be huge for those who use Windows 10 PC because of the solid integration it brings along with it.

Available under the app name “CoA Preview (Unreleased),” you can install Cortana right away and install it on your phone. Once done, you will have to sign-in using a Microsoft account ( the same one you have on Windows 10 PC).

Features of Cortana on Android:

Set and get location and time reminders across your PC and phone.

Get notified and send a quick text reply from your PC if you miss a call on your phone.
Track flights, train reservations, cricket scores, stocks, mobile phone bills, and other important info
Use Cortana’s Notebook to view, edit and manage your interests.

You can use “Hey Cortana,” i.e., Voice Initiated, along with “Ok Google.”
Cortana’s Notebook gives you access to many features, e.g., Find a place to eat and drink, Financial alerts, Special Days, Track Bills, Weather, and so on.
An app shortcut is also available, which you can use to directly start voice interaction with Cortana if you do not use “Hey Cortana.”

One of the most prominent features Cortana brings is notification integration with Windows 10 PC, for those who are on Insiders Build on Fast Ring. You can get notifications from APPS on your phone on your Windows 10 PC.

The settings allow you to choose which apps can send notifications, and you can even quick reply to some of the notifications without installing an app, e.g., Facebook and WhatsApp. Some of them will need applications to be installed, for which you will get a link to download the app if they are available on Windows 10 Store.
