There are some smartphones which allows you to record videos in slow motion, but how about converting your existing videos into slow motion ones? Slowly is the first slow motion creation app for Windows Phone 8.1 users. With this free app you can make slow motion videos from your existing videos and then render them.
All you need to do is to select the clip and edit it by and adding slow motion effect in your favorite positions. You can add multiple slomo regions and change the slowness of every region of the clip. There are certain pre-set values for slow motion- 50%, 40% and 25%. There is no option to set custom speed.
The app will will render the video and save it within the Slowly folder in your photo album for you to use. The current version does not save your project so that you can edit it later, but this support is coming soon in the next version. You can also share the clip by email, Facebook, OneDrive, and more.
The slow motion preview in the app does not work properly as mentioned by the developer. Further, the volume will be muted for the regions where you select slow motion.
