Cross Platform and Device Notification Center for Windows Phone 8
One of the main features missing in Windows Phone 8 is the notification center. Android and iOS have a very good notification center, but this is missing in Windows Phone, although app notifications exists. One of the Windows Phone apps developer has created a new notification center called Unification. Unification is a secure, encrypted, single-source, cross-device notification platform that provides comprehensive notification Center services and visibility across all Microsoft Windows-based devices, including Windows Phone 7, Windows Phone 8, Windows 8, and Windows desktop.
As of now there are few apps available which natively supports Unification and with more coming soon, this app looks pretty good.
Liquid Daffodil, the publisher behind the popular tools like Gleek and FlyBy is behind this app.

Once you have installed Unification, you need to authorize app to access your Live ID. Once this is done, you can start adding apps to Unification. Currently it supports all Liquid Daffodil apps and more apps like meTweets, Feed Me are expected to be added soon.

Once you have added apps, you can get any notification from the added apps in a single location and you can sync them across the devices using your Live ID. The service, hosted as a Windows Azure Cloud Service, will be entirely app-centric and require developer participation and user “opt in” for authorization.
