Dance Central 2 FaceBook App is here

Dance Central 2 has just now launched ( Thanks Hardik ) the Facebook App which not only lets you show off your dance your score with your Facebook friends but also lets you find who else is playing Dance Central 2 in your friend list if you are not yet there on your Xbox Friends.

Now to start using this, first register the app with your Facebook Account and then link your Xbox Console here. For this you will need your gamer tag, the account linking code which you will find in Dance Central 2 Game > Options.

If you are wondering what is the use of this app then there are two major stuff one you can access your score / stats and Challenges right from here which will be easier to view than on Xbox and second you will be to look around for recent and popular songs right here instead of looking around on Xbox and Buy it.

For Each Song, You can see the difficulty level of the song, year released, which of your friends been already dancing on it and their score. That way you can get some social recommendation if you should get that song for yourself directly from there using the Buy Link which takes you to Xbox Marketplace.

Now since this is on Facebook, you can discuss each and every song on the Song Profile page. This really makes sense because you not only interact with your friend but you also interact with the Dance Central 2 Community to know about the song.

Looks like Finally Microsoft is getting smarter and bringing all their connectivity and apps to all platforms which is an awesome move both for users and for Xbox itself to bring in more revenue and increase user base.
