If you are Traveler to Delhi and want to move around the city in Metro and asking routes and fare is bit awkward, then you should grab the Windows Phone App for Delhi Metro which finds routes, calculates fares for you. Infact this is helpful for even regular user if you need to find new routes.
So today we have two apps instead of one which do the same job but implemented differently and useful for different scenario as of this version.
Delhi metro App ( Paid / Trial / Online )
- It brings you the latest update for fare that change or any new route gets introduced if they are updating it manually.
- Second find the stations which are in between is much clear hear if you are interested in that and plan to change your route in between.
- Since it always gets real time data, It doesn’t work when the internet is not there.
Suggestion :
- Implement Offline Support
- Add features like Re Routing if somebody wants to change its way in between.
- Information about colors should be in the same screen.
- Possible improvement in the UI
- More Traveler Oriented
Delhi Metro App ( Free / Offline )
- This is basically targeted towards Travelers because of the welcome message, tells you where you can find bicycles, traveling spots and so on.
- You can calculate fare even when you are offline.
- Find Help numbers, information about tokens, how to use them and son.
The Biggest disadvantage here is the route is in form of image and not pretty when it comes out to figure routes and so on.
