Dell Announces new Tablets and Ultrabooks with Windows 8

With Windows 8.1 coming on October 18th, Dell has launched an array of new tablets, laptops and ultrabooks. The new launches includes 8 inch and 11 inch tablets and also updated Dell XPS 13 and 15 inch laptops. Most of these new devices will come powered by Windows 8.1.

Dell Venue Pro (8 inch and 11 inch):

Dell Venue 8 Pro and Venue 11 Pro are 8 inch and 11 inch tablet powered by Windows 8.1. The Venue 8 Pro is the 8-inch model with a bright HD IPS display and optional integrated 4G LTE. It also has long battery life to keep you going. There is also the optional Dell Active Stylus for writing notes in Microsoft OneNote. You can also pick up the optional wireless keyboard dock. The Venue 8 Pro will come in black and red color options.

Venue8Pro

The Dell Venue 11 Pro is the 11-inch model with Windows 8.1. It too comes with a beautiful full HD display. It also has a removable (replaceable) battery as well. You can also get the Venue 11 Pro with a Dell Active Stylus, Dell Slim or Mobile Keyboards (the Dell Mobile Keyboard comes with an battery so it can extend the battery life of your Venue 11 Pro tablet by 50%), and a Dell Tablet Desktop Dock with 3 USB 3.0 ports and dual display-out ports (full size HDMI and full size DisplayPort). With the Venue 11 Pro, you can be productive with a tablet that has the power of an Ultrabook.

Venue11Pro

Both tablets come powered by the new Intel Atom quad-core processors, formally code named “Bay Trail.” However, the Venue 11 Pro can come with up to 4th generation Intel Core i3 and i5 processors too. The Venue 8 Pro will be available on October 18 via Dell.com in the U.S. and select countries around the world starting at $299.99 (U.S.). The Venue 11 Pro will be available in November starting at $499.99 (U.S.).

Dell XPS Series (11, 13 and 15 inch):

The new Dell XPS 11 is super thin, light, and compact and has the functionality of a laptop. The XPS 11 comes with a Quad HD 2560×1440 display for a bright, clear, and colorful viewing experience. It also comes with a backlit keyboard. The XPS 11 will be available in November starting at $999.99 (U.S.).

Dell XPS 13 has been updated with 4th generation Core i7 processors, Intel HD 4400 graphics and longer battery life (up to 10.5 hours). The updated XPS 13 will be available in November starting at $999.99 (U.S.).

The new Dell XPS 15 is a powerful multimedia device. It has a stunning screen – a Quad HD+ display (with optional touch) packs 5.7 million pixels into the screen which is about 5 times more than normal HD. It comes powered with 4th generation Intel Core i5 and i7 quad core processor options and NVIDIA discrete graphics options. You can get the XPS 15 with SSD configuration options that enables it to boot and resume within seconds (500GB to 1TB, both with a 32GB mSATA SSD, to a 512GB SSD).

The Dell XPS 15 will be available on October 18th via Dell.com starting at $1,499.99 (U.S.).
