Downalod SBI Freedom App for Windows Phone

Even though an SBI App for generating One Time Passwords has been there since some time, a full banking app was missing in spite of demand from Windows Phone users, specially those using Lumia. Here is the good news, your call has been answered and SBI has launched its Official Banking Application — State Bank Freedom for Windows Phone users.

I am not sure when it was launched but since there is no feedback or rating and the latest update was on 25th I am guessing it was recently launched. It’s good to see banking apps making their presence. Federal Bank, Bank Of Baroda, HDFC Bank also launched their apps recently.

The app resembles its Android counterpart has the following features:

Transfer Funds within an SBI account or any other bank account.
Supports Immediate Mobile Payment Services or IMPS.
Check balance and view mini statement.
Make a new Cheque Book request when you are short on leaves.
Demat Support
Make utility payments
Recharge your Mobile. Though we would suggest to use PayTM for that

DTH Recharge, Insurance Payment.
Also book tickets on IRCTC through IMPS.

Before you can use the app, it is suggested to get your User ID and Default MPIN and complete the registration process. The default MPIN can be changed when you login through the app. If you are new to Mobile Banking, Best is to visit your nearest branch or It is also possible to activate your mobile banking registration through your ATM.

We will also high recommend you to download the State Bank Secure App which generates token for authentication for Login to SBI Online or anywhere needed for your SBI Account.
