Instagraph App released for Nokia 808 & Symbian S60 Edition

Right after the release of Instagraph – the unofficial app for Instagram on Asha 501 — the developer has decided to keep expanding it to older Nokia Platform and this time it’s the turn for Nokia 808 PureView and S60 version 5 phones which includes Nokia 52XX, Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and Navigation Edition, Nokia C5-03, 04, 05, 06 and Nokia C6-00, the infamous Nokia N97 and mini, Nokia X6-00.

This information came right from developer, David Lorenzin who also developed the same app for Windows Phone sometimes ago. The version running on S60 edition phones is similar to what you saw on Asha 501 platform i.e. Web Runtime version which feels like an app but it’s actually using a web version to post the photo upload.

Just a reminder that these photos are queued for upload and not posted instantly. So you might just not see the photos but overall process seems to be quick enough and worth waiting. As of now there is no official app from Instagram and at least we cannot expect it to appear for Symbian platform no matter what.

The app includes option to add filters, comments and description to the photos you wish to post. Also there is an upload section for you to check on the progress of the image upload.

You can download the app from here from the Nokia Store. In India the price is set for Rs 15 and can be paid through credit card or through your mobile operator i.e. it will deduct the amount from your existing balance.
