Dropbox App is now Available for Xbox One
Over the years, Xbox is transforming from just being a console to a complete media house and especially powered by Windows 10. The prospects are huge. We have seen apps for torrents, media streaming, and so on till now, but today we have a major app–Dropbox.
The company has made its app now available for Xbox One, and it brings in full features instead of making it just view only.
Here is the list of features:
- Universal App, i.e., you get the same experience as you have on Windows 10 on PC and Phone.
- You can view all the media content including Photos, and Videos. Yes, you can stream if you wish to. You don’t need to download it first hand.
- It lets you share files from Dropbox Apps.
- You can manage files and also make files available offline.
- The app darts to the Xbox One UI and TV Screen.
- Supports Xbox One Controller and media remote.
That said, Xbox One powered by Windows 10 and Store has huge potential. If you have a console at your home, there is no need for a smart TV. TV manufacturers have been trying to push apps for some time, and Xbox One or any console that can deliver apps like these can help.
