Fable 3 Free for Xbox Gold Members, Grab it Now
When I saw Jonathan tweet about Fable 3 being free on Xbox, I was a bit surprised for such an awesome game to sold at no price. Then I thought it might be US exclusive but was glad to find out that it seems to free in all countries but restricted to only Gold Members. And it turns to be true because Fable 3 Listing page says clearly “Gold Exclusive Price — Free”. Otherwise the game costs 1920 MS points.
At first when I logged in, it was showing up the price to be around 20$ but then when I refreshed it was gone. So probably you can try that and make sure you are signed in with your gold member account. The total size of the game download is 5.61 GB so make sure either your internet is fast enough or you better download every thing else before starting this.
Many of the tweets are recommending to switch to MS points to get this as free but I am not sure, you may try but it didn’t work for me. It showed the price before I did the refresh
Those who are not aware, Fable 3 is an Action and Role Playing game.
We are expecting Microsoft and Xbox team to announce Fable 4 during the E3 Conference today. Fable 4 is expected to be built on Unreal Engine 3 technology and will have Smartglass support which means you can view parts of the games like Maps, Scores, etc. on your Windows Phone.
