Facebook Messenger New Camera take on Snapchat One on One

Taking on each other exclusive features is no more shame, specially when it comes to Social Networks. Companies like Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram have huge reach, and it only make sense to get those features if they are working out well.

In today’s new, Facebook is getting Snapchat like stories & filters features to Facebook messenger. This feature lets you take a photo of everyday, and lets you showcase at the top of the messenger. Interesting to note that Facebook claims that it worked with artists around the world to come up with more customisation tools for Messenger.

The messenger has been updated on all platforms including Windows 10 by introducing a new camera interface. It lets you easily capture images in your chats, personalize by adding effects, stickers and more.  Windows 10 App is still buggy, as usually. Not sure why Facebook just cant do it right.

Apart from Camera update, you also get access to Stickers, Arts, and other things in your regular chats.

Facebook now has 1 billion staggering user base, and it is easy for it to take on the Snapchat. Well competition is good is all we can say, but putting this into messenger is kind of odd.

The update is rolling out as you read, and you might have to wait for sometime to see this into action.
