Facebook Messenger for Windows Phone Announced, Coming Soon

At the press event in MWC 2014 in Barcelona, Microsoft has announced that Facebook Messenger is coming soon to Windows Phone 8. The Facebook App for WP8 is released by Microsoft and it received a major update last year and now the platform will soon have the standalone messenger app.

There isn’t any other information available on the app including the features and also the expected release date.

But since Facebook is the most popular social networking site and the demand for the messenger app being huge, we expect it to release soon, probably in the coming weeks.

It would probably be a standalone app like the Facebook app.
