Facebook App for Windows Phone brings in Threaded messaging, Tagging, Like Comments and more
Windows Phone developing he Facebook App has proved that they do listen to users feedback. After the last update which had loads of improvement, this version of Windows Phone has rolled out lot of features, most of which are By demand from the users.
Below is the list of major changes :
- Threaded messaging : Instead of flat style messaging for Inbox, Now you have complete threaded messaging as Group messaging will be possible in this app.
- Tagging : Use the At in the comments or posts to tag friends. For places with tag will be supported.
- Delete posts and comments : Annoyed by comments made by some and you cannot delete them untill you reach home ? Now all you need is tap and hold the comment for a bit long to bring in the context menu which has option to delete comments and posts right from your wall.
- Active links in posts : Tap on links in posts to go directly to the content.
- Updates to the photo comments and likes page : The photo comments and likes page has been updated to match the posts comments and likes page. You can see a hint of the image at the top of the page, pull down and you can see the whole thing.
- And finally, by popular demand : You can now ‘like’ comments!
In case an update is not visible on your phone, visit the Facebook app on the marketplace, on your phone and it should be visible.
