Far Cry 4 Review : 10 Reasons Why You Should Buy This Game
Far Cry 4 is all about how skilled you are to survive in a jungle and take over enemy camps and fortress. You can either go in stealth mode or hit on the enemy camp one on one with enough ammunitions in your bag or probably a combination of both if you are taking over a fortress alone the toughest thing to complete in the game. Either way, its one of the most addictive game which long hours of game play and will need all your skills to complete it.
#1 Simple Story Line:
Many a times, games complicate their stories. Far Cry 4 did not mess up here. The story is simple. You play as Ajay Ghale to spread his deceased mother’s ashes to a place named Lakshmna. However, there is a villain in between–Pagan Min–who is also the reason his father died when he started off the Golden Path. You need to take over the enemies and reach your destiny.

What you will find interesting is the main character remains a suspense. You don’t know about him at all except for the reason he is here. I kind of like it as it makes sure I am pretty focused on the game and not mixing it what he did in the past or how it would have changed things here. Say for example if at any point it was told he has a desk job, the next question would have been, “How is he supposed to survive in a jungle”.
#2 The Jungle World:
It’s beautiful. The place is actually fictional, thought to be located around Nepal, Tibet and surrounding countries. You will see the culture everywhere in form of huge statues of Buddha, snow capped mountains, filled with fauna and so on.

This open world of jungle changes a the game play many a times. If you are kind of player would love to stay hidden behind trees and bushes, make sure to stay off the wild animals like tigers and wolfs who may attack you from no where. Many a times, I have died fighting one resulting in restart of the whole camp takeovers. The really challenge is pass through undetected, so make sure to look at the maps to figure out thing.

#3 Grow your Skills, Craft your Bags:
The game menu has two important things which will help you in the game play everywhere. As you complete campaigns, you get skill points which you can use to learn new skills. This could be reloading your weapon as you run or take over your enemy from above. Second is crafting your bag where you carry your loot, guns, weapons, etc. Bigger your bag is, you have better chance of taking over a camp before you run out of ammos. Don’t forget to keep collecting money by searching killed enemies which will help you unlock maps.
#4 Travel the way you Love:
You will possibly find every way of traveling from one point to another. Gliders, Sports Bike, Gun mounted cars, the regular ones, speed boat, auto rickshaw, and if you learn the skills, you can ride an elephant and take over a camp in few minutes. Its total awesomeness with mountain and ice laden caps around to travel through the beautiful valley of Karyat.

#5 Choice of Weapons:
You have tons of them and they really suit for such open world scenario where you need to be realistic. You will love the bow and arrow specially as you can add flare to it, put on a zoom lens to make it even more accurate. Spend some time customising them, and choosing them wisely on what to use where. Make sure to look for a guy on the way with whom you can trade or get into the house of a post you just took over to get things done.
My favourites where Knife, Bow and Burning bottles which worked much better than guns which makes noise, and attracts enemies from vicinity when alarm is fired. Stay hidden and get the job done works best.

#6 Long Campaigns & Huge Maps
While it totally depends on how well you play, the game does have long campaign hours for those who crave for story based stuff. Mixed with lot of Go Fetch, Hidden Treasures and discoverable landmarks, the game will keep you buys for long. Keep unlocking the maps to find posts and fortress. The menu gives you a clear idea on how much game is completed, the smaller ones help in get you more money sometimes. Keep an eye.
#7 You Control the Story:
The game has multiple ways it can end. You can kill Pagan or let him tell his story. If you do, he tells you the reality and leaves. This is interesting because this is not the first time you actually choose. Even during the game play, you get multiple choice on how you take over the enemy. You will make choice which will change the way you experience the game. You will meet two characters in the game–Amita and Sabal–depending on who’s idea you like, the end result will be different.

That said, I will hold my words here. Baseline, having control over the story is brilliant. So play the ending a couple of time to see what happens!!
#8 Socialism and Dialogues:
In this game you keep meeting people, get their job done, and make friends. This whole thing gives you a social feel. Anywhere you go, the golden path people know you, chat with you and do little chit chat. The dialogues, depending on how you want, can keep off the rogue words, but if you are from India, you would really enjoy to see how the enemy taunts in the native language.
#9 Smart Enemies :
What is impressive is the AI which controls the animals and people are very natural. You will get to understand that when you see pack of wolves attacking you. They just don’t run away easily and keep coming back. The enemies react the same way when they see the animals. You will see them feeling when they are attacked by Elephants and Tigers.
The most difficult of them are the Hunters. They are silent, shoot arrow from incredible long distance and impossible to track. If you get into one of the camps, which have hunters, take them down first.

One of the interesting situation which I have faced many a times is enemies reclaiming a post. You get this notification as you are on a mission, and if you don’t react quickly, you will lose it. More posts you lose, harder it will be to claim over the fortress.
#10 Versatile
It has everything in the game, well almost everything. You have missions, stories to find, hidden treasures, weapons that lets you go stealth, use nature against enemies, tragic stories which will keep you buys and interested. You will love discovering Kyrat from every aspect.
