How to Find if an Android App will RUN on Nokia X
When Nokia X Family devices were announced, one thing was said damn straight, most of the apps will work barring a few as Nokia X does not support some of the Google services which include three major APIs. First is the call to Google Maps, Second is hooking up with Notification System and lastly the in-app purchases. Instead they need to follow the APIs from Nokia X SDK which allow to use HERE Maps, Nokia X notification system and lastly the in-app purchases.
That said, Nokia Developers has released a test tool called as the Nokia X analyser which checks for incompatibility and reports on how to fix it. I had a word with the developer team today at MWC Barcelona and they said it would be a best for consumers not to SIDELOAD APK files as you never know what will happen. The developers of course have the option to use the analyser and recompile the app to submit to Nokia store.

Well, even told that, consumers will load SDK and hence our recommendation for consumers is to look for apps in the Store else use the Nokia X Analyzer to figure out if the app will work completely or is prone to some errors.
As per me to get the best experience, your best bet stays with the apps downloaded from Nokia X or those that are recommended in the third-party store. As the Nokia X user base increases and more developers join the platform, you will see many apps coming to the store.
What About Google Services ?
This is a tricky question to answer right now. Even then my perception is that Nokia X is designed in such a way that users get Lumia like experience and Microsoft services on board. So if you like the interface and want to move ahead in the line, Nokia Lumia series is with you.
