Lumia 640 Specs are better than Lumia 630 Specs:

Whenever Nokia Announced a Windows Phone, there was a step back on what could have been delivered. So for example Lumia 630 is a great phone on every aspect, specially the brilliant design, but if one has to take price point into consideration it had missed an HD screen, HD Camera, 1 GB RAM and a flash.

Lumia 640 : It’s the Lumia 1320 with the Right price & More Features

I am sure you remember the budget phablet–Lumia 1320 which came with great hardware, but with more price. With Lumia 640 XL they have changed it. Its going to be priced around 13.5K to 14K and it comes with more features that 1320 had and it now can compete with Android Phablet at this price range.

Lumia 640 XL has a 720P screen with 5.7 inch screen, comes with 13 MP camera with flash, autofocus and whooping 5MP front camera. It is powered by Snapdragon 1.2 GHZ quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. This all with One year Office 365 Subscription and 1TB One Drive storage.

Lumia 1320 missed by a large margin when it came to camera both front and rear and the dual core only processor.

Dual SIM LTE

I am sure many people in west, where LTE is common, wanted a phone two SIM. Specially in US. Microsoft is finally introducing a phone with dual SIM LTE capability. I don’t think anybody has done that with LTE at least. This way now US consumers can opt in for a low budget phone happily.

I believe that Microsoft is finally accepting the fact that you need to have better specs with competitive pricing. Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL is a start. They have made sure the devices will get Windows 10 when the upgrade rolls out and you don’t have worry about it.
