Flying Tiles is an addictive Windows Phone Game to have
Not every day you find games which are simple but so addictive that you can just keep on playing for hours. This reminds of the old Snakes game which used to come pre-installed on Nokia Phones. So now coming back to the topic, Today’s Addictive game is Flying Tiles where all you need to do is catch the blue tiles and stay away from black ones.
Gameplay :
So like, I said about catching the blue squares which is done by holding a finger over a small blue circle and then pawn over any blue square in the way. The now game becomes difficult because you get to see more of black squares than blues and touching any of the black guys will instantly result in Game Over.
Apart from the Black Tiles, you have two more hurdles called as Power ups with Question marks, which again, come in black and blue version. You can capture both of them but most of the time black power up take away points and or just double up the speed.
Risk Factor : Though the black power ups cause troubles but if you practice enough you can make more scores by using them.
Features :
This comes in both paid and free versions. The paid version allows you to customize the game experience even more and have no advertisement. As I did not find the adverts in the free version intruding, only the extra features will make you buy the app.
Free + Paid
- For all the games played, you get to see Overall, Daily and Weekly score.
- You can have multiple profiles.
- High Score List where you can get to see scores from Daily, Weekly and Overall tracking. You can also view Local scores played by each profile.
- Get Alerts when someone beats your high score.
- Dodging Mode is an interesting one, where, Tiles dont move and keep appearing here and there. You need to quickly move your finger to capture them and also take care that you don’t hit the black tiles.
Paid Only :
- Black theme.
- Change Game colour and select type of tile.
- Five type of modes i.e. Classic, 3 Lifes, 5 Lifes, Speed, Run.
In coming version, the app displays, that there will be achievements included. Not sure if its going to be a paid feature or open for all.
