Folders is a new File Manager for Windows Phone 8.1

With the release of Windows Phone 8.1, there has been a flurry of file managers and we covered some of the best ones like Aerize and Esploristo. We now have a new file manager for WP8.1 called Folders. It is a brand new file manager which allows you to organize your files and folders stored on your phone, SD Card, or even your OneDrive which is Microsoft’s free cloud storage.

The app has a different UI which is simple and clean. You can do most of the general operations like cut, copy, paste, create folders and more.

Main Features:

  • Cut, copy, paste, rename, delete, new folder and other fundamental features.
  • Nice and clean UI, smooth animations and enjoyable UX.
  • Integrated OneDrive. Have OneDrive as another folder just with a tap. No need to insert your email, or remember your password.
  • Share a file via Bluetooth, as an email attachment or with other various apps.
  • Open files with default apps, or with other selected third party apps.
  • Pin a folder to start screen for quick access.
  • Supported SD Card with all possible operations. You can move files between your phone storage and external memory.

The developer has mentioned that he is already working on new version which will have support for more cloud storages and also copy option from cloud storage.
