Foursquare 4.0 for Windows Phone Released, with Redesigned Interface

Few months back Foursquare did some major changes to the app by launching a new app for checking in called Swarm and made the Foursquare app more of searching and discovering great places. The Swarm app for Windows Phone was released few months back and now the company has released the Foursquare v4.0 for Windows Phone with major upgrades.

The biggest upgrade has been to the interface and it comes with a totally new interface.

You can search for restaurants, coffee, nightlife, shops and more. If you have been to a place, you can rate the place add comments and more. There is also a check in button available which takes you to Swarm app (if you have installed it already on your phone).

The newly designed app is a welcome move and does look pretty good. The new version has been released for all WP versions including Windows Phone 8.1, 8 and also 7.5. It also supports devices with 512MB RAM.
