Game Review : Avengers, Battle of Earth (First Impression)
A game was pretty much expected by Marvel, after they released Avengers movie and now its available on Xbox for you to try on if you have a Kinect. Yup, its a Kinect based game where you can become of the super hero’s, specially the mega Hulk!!!
What’s in the Trial Mode ?
In the trial game you get to play two rounds of two on two fight using two of the super hero’s, Hulk and Thor against Captain America Skrull and Magneto Skrull.
When fighting against other players, you can dodge to save yourself from getting hit and use actions, which is specific for every hero, to fire special power. For example when using Hulk You can raise both of your arms sideways to pull up a rock and then clap to throw towards your opponent or You can raise your Knee to kick in opponents stomach and so on.
The game also allows you to switch between two super heroes to compete with your opponent players. Below is a small video on how it does along.

What more Final game will have ?
Looking at the end of the trailer, the game is just not limited to two player fighting but will also bring in lot of game modes like :
- Arcade
- Versus
- Challenges
- Tournaments and Tutorials.
The game will also include Online multiplayer 2 – 4 players, Online co-op 4 players with voice chat and leadrboard support. You will also see DLC coming in for Avengers.
My Experience :
It is fun to play. specially the hulk, where you get the amazing sound affects, jumping, smashing, picking up the ruck but but at the end you will get tired because you don’t get to use the controller but its the actual game and since you have lot of actions to attack, it really cannot be done by using just the controller.
However the rounds don’t last for very very long, so playing around for an hour wont be difficult if you had played Kinect based Xbox Games before.
I would still say that many Xbox Gamers are going to complain about no support of controller and it should have been there.
