Game Troopers Plans to Port Successful Android, iOS Games to Windows Phone
Game scenario on Windows Phone has improved over last 2 years with lot of popular games making their way to Windows Phone. That said, there are many games incredibly popular on Android and iOS has still not made their way to Windows Phone and a company named as “Game Troopers” has big plans to get them on board.
To start with, they are porting their in house games, Tiny Troopers, a game with over 13 million installs on iOS and Android., and Make it Rain, with more than 30 million downloads. To get this done, they are launching a new independent game publishing service, today.

In the PR update we received, Nicholas Reville, co-founder of Game Troopers said :
In many cases, we will even do the coding to get the game running on Windows. We want to make it easy for developers to decide to bring their game to Windows. It shouldn’t add any extra stress for your team
If you are bit confused, the reference of Windows is for both Windows and Windows Phone, which Microsoft is branding as Windows Now.
Josh Segall, co-founder of Game Troopers and CEO of Space Inch, which founded Game Troopers said :
We live and breath mobile gaming and we know how to create hits. There’s a huge amount of potential on Windows and lots of indie game developers don’t have a plan to publish their game. We solve that for them.
As of now Game Troopers has already confirmed a few Xbox Live titles for Windows 8 and Windows Phone that are coming soon. The games are Tiny Troopers, Make it Rain: The Love of Money and Abyss
Tiny Troopers will be released during December on Windows Phone. The game features 30 levels plus a Zombie Mode, and players can unlock up to 200G in Xbox Achievements. The game will be available for free. Those who want to get the most of the game can enhance their experience through in-app purchases.
Note for Developers:
If you are a developer having a game on Android or iOS, who wants to port their game for Windows Phone with lot less difficulty, you can connect with the team on this URL. The service allows you to get the Xbox Live integration as well which is probably the most difficult part for the game developers, but its also one thing every Windows Phone gamers crave for.
