Gameloft Getting 12 Game Titles on Windows Phone 8
As more users were getting worried about gaming future on Windows Phone, Gameloft has made its grand entry for Nokia Phones, specially for Windows Phone 8.
According to Nokia Conversation, Gameloft is set to release twelve Xbox Game titles on Windows Phone. Out of these three games — Asphalt 7, Real Football 2013 and The Amazing Spider-Man — are already available in the market. The other nine games scheduled to release in coming months are:
- Nova 3
- The Dark Knight Rising.
- Order & Chaos
- Ice Age Village
- Six Guns
- Shark Dash
- Modern Combat 4 Zero Hour
- UNO & Friends
- Kingdoms & Lords.
Nokia team also had a discussion with Gameloft’s Nicolas Pochez in Barcelona. He said Gameloft is aiming to bring the top-selling game to Windows Phone devices. They are also working with Nokia to improve the gaming experience by tapping into the different capabilities available on the Nokia platform. This could very well mean that we will not only see games coming to Windows Phone but also the lower range models like Asha.
Gameloft is after the in-app purchase model which allows them to put the games for free but still make money. This kind of model works well with gamers who either want to finish the games early or one who wants to spend more time with the game.
Things are really getting exciting for Windows Phone now. This announcement really shuts up many of us who been worried about Windows Phone gaming future and we are really happy about it.
