If you been waiting to get your hands on with the Xiaomi’s 15.6-inch notebook, Mi Notebook Pro, Gearbest has got you covered. Available only in China right now, the popular online store has made it possible for you to import that rather easily. That said, you might have to pay duty and taxes depending on which country you are importing.
When it comes to configuration, Mi Notebook Pro houses a 15.6-inch 1080p display panel, a quad-core eighth-gen Kaby Lake Core i5-8250U CPU, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD, and an NVIDIA MX150 graphics card with 2GB of GDDR5 memory.
The notebook went on sale in China last month for the equivalent of $850, and if you’re looking to pick it up from outside the country, GearBest is selling it for $899 with coupon code GBTPC14 or GBTPC15.
Apart from the decent hardware, you also get a backlit keyboard, audio from Harman Kardon, SD card reader, AC supported WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, 1 MP camera, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB-C ports, HDMI out, and a 3.5mm jack. The 8000mAh battery charges over USB-C, and the notebook is rated for eight hours of usage on a full charge. It runs Windows 10 and supports Windows Hello. When it comes to battery, you get a solid 8000mAh battery. It can be charged over USB-C.
That said, this is the Chinese version of Mi Notebook Pro, which means when you boot it up, you will see all Chinese, and you will have to change the language to whatever suits you the best.
Harish from Windows Central shared that if you are planning to import it to India, you will have to pay anywhere between Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 in customs duties.
